An indigo Japanese coaster woven from natural hemp in the traditional kaya weave, sized for mugs, teacups and glasses.
Made by Ban Inoue in Japan, it uses kaya, the light, open weave traditionally used for Japanese mosquito nets. The deep indigo blue has a quiet, timeless feel, and sits beautifully with white porcelain and natural timber. Build a set in one colour, or mix colours across the table.
Prefer something smaller? See the Small Indigo Kaya Coaster. Pairs well with our Small Indigo Kaya Placemat. Also available as the Charcoal Kaya Coaster and Persimmon Kaya Coaster.
