Hyosankama

The Hyozangama kiln has a long tradition of pottery production within Japan. When Yozaemon, the fourth generation of the Hyozangama kiln, presented vessels to Oda Nobunaga, he was praised for his technique and given a red seal and the family name "Hashiba" to authorise the production of pottery.
