A persimmon Japanese coaster woven from natural hemp in the traditional kaya weave, sized for mugs, teacups and glasses.
Made by Ban Inoue in Japan, it uses kaya, the light, open weave traditionally used for Japanese mosquito nets. The warm, earthy persimmon tone brings a gentle glow to the table, and is lovely with white porcelain and timber. Build a set in one colour, or mix colours across the table.
Prefer something smaller? See the Small Persimmon Kaya Coaster. Pairs well with our Large Persimmon Kaya Placemat. Also available as the Charcoal Kaya Coaster and Indigo Kaya Coaster.
