Founded in 1913 in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, Nankei Pottery is a family-run kiln dedicated to the centuries-old tradition of Banko-yaki. Originally established as a clay refiner, Nankei transitioned into master pottery in 1972, specialising in tea utensils that balance historical craftsmanship with a refined, modern aesthetic.
