A small indigo Japanese coaster woven from natural hemp in the traditional kaya weave, sized for small teacups and sake cups.
Made by Ban Inoue in Japan, it uses kaya, the light, open weave traditionally used for Japanese mosquito nets. The deep indigo blue has a quiet, timeless feel, and it also makes a neat rest beneath a bud vase or incense holder.
