Shitan Japanese Rosewood Bracelet.
Kyoto is famous for the production of Buddhist prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju), these bracelets are handmade following this long tradition.
Each bracelet is handmade from Shitan Japanese rosewood beads, and strung onto silk elastic cord.
Japanese Rosewood (Shitan) ranges from a dark orange to a deeper reddish purple colour, often with darker streaks throughout. Colours tend to darken significantly over time towards a deep reddish purple to nearly black. This wood is very hard and extremely durable.
Please note as each bracelet is handmade from natural materials the colour may differ slightly from piece to piece.

Wrist size: approximately 17cm
Measurements: Head bead: 10mm / Main beads: 7mm / Small beads:6mm
Care: Remove before showering and going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend taking it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with a soft fabric.
