Kousaido Japanese Red Pine Incense Sticks: A slightly sweet and powerful wood scent that evokes a refreshing deep breath taken in the forest air, made with a luxurious blend of natural essential oils and wood powder from red pine grown in Keihoku, Kyoto –capturing the essence of Japanese red pine.

The Tennen incense range translates as "natural" and includes a series of natural wood scents, using only natural ingredients.

We recommend pairing with the our Iwa Ceramic Incense Holder, Ceramic Ring Incense Holder, or Ceramic Ball Incense Holder (sold separately).

Made in Japan.

20 long incense sticks.

Measurements:  Box: 15.9 x 3.7 x 2.9cm / Incense: 13.6cm

Burn time: approximately 20-30 minutes per stick.

Please note as this incense range is made with natural essential oils, wood powders, and resins there may be resin spots on the incense sticks – which are natural elements of Japanese woods.

Kousaido is a Japanese Incense maker based in Kyoto, Japan. Since their establishment in 1994 they have created a range of incense blends from more traditional scents to modern twists. Kousaido hopes to create fragrances that capture the essence of Kyoto, transporting us through ancient and modern Japan.

Kousaido's ethos is centred around colouring our life with incense. Traditional sandalwood is a common base note used within Kousaido's Japanese incense, and is blended with a variety of other woods, herbs, flowers to create balanced olfactory experiences. Incense has the ability to shift the mood of spaces around the home, as well as the internal spaces within us. Coming into the sensory world can allow us to show up in the day and meet it with presence.
