A Japanese rectangle plate in a traditional kohiki glaze, handcrafted for Marumitsu Poterie. Its minimal shape with upturned corners is ideal for sushi, grilled fish, Japanese sweets and appetisers.
Made from a textured clay body, the kohiki glaze has an off-white, greyish hue with occasional soft pink patches, so each plate has its own character. Founded in 1950 in Seto, home to some of Japan's longest-running kilns, Marumitsu designs each collection with a French flair, always considering how a piece will be used and how food will be plated.

Care: Microwave safe. Not dishwasher or oven safe. Avoid leaving food sitting on the plate for prolonged periods, and wash with hot soapy water and a soft sponge directly after use. Dry thoroughly before storing away.
