This versatile lipped bowl has many uses such as, for preparing tea, or for gravy, sauces and dressings. It has an organic asymmetrical form, and a rustic crackled glaze.
The sabikairagi range is made with traditional Japanese glazing techniques, which involves applying a layer of white powder clay, then applying a brown glaze layer – resulting in the distinct crackle pattern after kiln firing.
