Japanese kyusu dark clay teapot

Kyusu Dark Clay Teapot

Japanese Artisan Handcrafts
$85.00
4 left

A Japanese kyusu teapot in natural brownish-black clay, for brewing traditional Japanese tea. Its well-designed, clean-lined shape fits beautifully in any kitchen, and the exterior is left unglazed (yakishime) for a smooth, tactile finish that honours the clay's natural beauty.

A ceramic mesh filter built into the pot carefully catches small tea leaf particles, and a delicate spout gives a steady pour, making tea preparation a pleasure.

Pairs well with the Ryuun Kairagi Tea Cup and our Takada Tawashi Teapot Brush.
