Product Description

This design is ideal for scrubbing the inside of teapots. Its compact size makes it small enough to fit inside most teapots to clean the hard to reach inner areas.

For some seventy years, Takada's artisans have been handcrafting tawashi one at a time, using only the finest, carefully-selected materials harvested from trees cultivated in Wakayama Prefecture, in southwestern Japan. Each palm brush is made using waterproof yet gentle windmill palm fibers (shuro) that won't scratch your kitchenware. Shuro has been used in Japan since ancient times.
