A versatile Japanese ginkgo wood cutting board, made from a single piece of natural wood. Ginkgo is regarded as one of the highest quality woods for cutting boards: its moderate elasticity receives the knife edge softly, protecting delicate Japanese blades. It can also be used as a cheese board.
Each board is individually made in Japan by craftsmen who have inherited traditional wood manufacturing processes. Like hinoki, ginkgo wood is antimicrobial and dries fast, making it easy to care for.
