Crafted in Imabari, Japan, the Kontex Cotton Linen Cloth in charcoal is a premium, multi-purpose Japanese kitchen towel designed for ultimate absorption and quick-drying performance. Woven from 50% cotton and 50% linen, it's a lightweight, breathable cloth that softens with each wash, without the initial stiffness of traditional linen or the slow drying of standard cotton. Ideal for drying delicate glassware, wiping benchtops or wrapping warm bread.
Kontex have been making towels using century-old techniques since their founding in 1934, in the famous Imabari towel region of Japan. Each towel is woven on traditional low-speed looms using high-quality threads, and washed with fresh spring water from the melted snow of Mt. Ishizuchi, making their towels absorbent, fast drying, durable and environmentally friendly.
