Bamboo has been used in since ancient times for varies purposes. These bamboo strings can be paired with our bamboo skin wraps (sold separately) for wrapping foods while steaming, wrapping rice balls, etc. We recommend soaking strings for 20-30minutes in water to soften prior to use.
Bamboo has excellent antibacterial properties and water retention qualities.
