Discover the beauty of nature with these two elegant plates. Each is handcrafted from wild mountain cherry wood by craftsmen in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture (often said to be the birthplace of woodworking). These plates are made from the villages cherry tree (Yamazakura), which is characterised by its hard properties, light tone, and glossiness after polishing. The wood passes through many stages such as drying, shaving, and shaping with utmost care.
These medium sized plates are a beautiful addition to any table.
Each piece is truly unique and will be reflected in the difference of wood grain.
