A Japanese white enamel food container with a seal lid, by Noda Horo. Clean and simple with a warm, milky white texture, it's a kitchen staple for food prep, storage, cooking, baking and preserving.
Without the lid, it can be used for boiling, steaming, grilling and baking, and it goes straight from the freezer or fridge to the oven, gas stove or steamer. Use it for baking cakes, making pickles and marinades, and much more. Enamelware's glass coating also makes it ideal for safe, hygienic food preservation.

Care and use: Remove the lid before cooking. On the stovetop, suitable for gas stoves only, and not microwave safe as it's metal. The enamel is a porcelain coating, so avoid dropping it or cooling it too quickly after use, as heavy knocks or rapid cooling can cause cracks or chips. Avoid metal scrubbers and abrasive detergents, and hand wash with a gentle cloth, drying thoroughly after use to prevent rusting.
