Hard Strong (HS) is Toyo Sasaki's original glass toughening process, which is a technology that heats and rapidly cools the glasses surface, creating a strong tempered layer which is highly durable and more difficult to scratch – making this glassware many times stronger than traditional glassware.
Toyo Sasaki Glass has received numerous Good Design Awards, including one for the Usurai range in 2024.
