Product Description

These handcrafted Japanese tea cups are the perfect size for a warming cup of tea. Each is handcrafted in a textured red earthernware clay with an angled faceted exterior, and then dipped in a traditional japanese off-white kohiki glaze.

Please note as each cup is handcrafted and unique they may differ slightly from piece to piece. 

Marumitsu Poterie was established in 1950, and is based in Seto, Japan. Each collection is designed with a French flair to Japanese cookware and tableware. Functionality is always the heart of the design, how each piece is used and how food is plated is always considered when they are designed. Seto is home to kilns with the longest production history in Japan along with local potters that bring a high-quality artisanal touch to the collection.

Kohiki glazed ceramic.

Made in Japan.

Care: Microwave safe. Not oven safe, not dishwasher safe. Hand wash in hot soapy water with a soft sponge, dry thorougly before storing away.
