A rectangular Japanese baking dish in an ochre glaze, handcrafted for Marumitsu Poterie. Holding around 1250ml, it's perfect for roast vegetables and meats, gratins and lasagne for three to four people.
"Hutte" means a mountain cottage in German, and the series evokes delightful oven-baked dishes, as if made in a mountain cottage. Made from heat-resistant clay with a heat-resistant glaze, it goes straight from the oven to the table. Founded in 1950 in Seto, home to some of Japan's longest-running kilns, Marumitsu designs each collection with a French flair, always considering how a piece will be used and how food will be served.

Marumitsu Poterie was established in 1950, and is based in Seto, Aichi, Japan. Their collection of tableware and donabes are made from natural clay excavated from the Japanese mountains and shaped by human hands.
