A Japanese enamel butter case with a natural cherry wood lid, by Noda Horo. Sized for a 200g block of butter, it combines practicality with a minimal design.
Turned upside down, the wooden lid doubles as a cutting board for serving butter. Looked after well, enamelware is very long lasting, keeps food fresh and germ free, and doesn't produce environmental toxins during production.
Pairs well with our Enamel Butter Warmer.

Care and use: Not microwave safe as it's metal. The enamel is a porcelain coating, so avoid dropping it or cooling it too quickly, as heavy knocks or rapid cooling can cause cracks or chips. Avoid metal scrubbers and abrasive detergents, and hand wash with a gentle cloth, drying thoroughly after use to prevent rusting.
