A Japanese kaya produce storage bag by Ban Inoue, made from a three-layered cotton kaya textile that gives it a more rigid form, perfect for storing rice and grains.
The top can be folded down to create an open storage bag, or rolled and tied closed with the waxed cotton cords, like a traditional rice storage bag. Its open weave and excellent air permeability also make it useful for storing clothing and other objects around the home.
