Product Description
This naturally dyed grey Japanese cushion cover or Zabuton is handcrafted from handwoven Ramie or hemp fabric called Iono-ori by skilled artisans in Japan. It's stiff texture makes it durable for use on the floor. The organic variated colour is due to the natural dyeing process – making each piece unique. Perfect to be used as a floor cushion.
Iono is based in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Their range of products are handmade by Japanese artisans using ramie fibres following traditional techniques from hand dying to finishing textiles that have been handed down over more than 1200 years.
