A Japanese aizen indigo wild cherry wood bracelet with 8mm beads, handmade in Kyoto. Each bead is wild cherry wood, hand-dyed in a natural Japanese indigo vat, a process called ai-zome (藍染め), and it comes in a wooden box, making it a lovely gift.
Kyoto is famous for making Buddhist prayer beads (juzu or nenju), and Kyoto Asahiya handmakes these bracelets following that long tradition. It's said this bracelet can be worn as a talisman for warding off evil and fulfilling wishes.
