Product Description
Hand woven by skilled artisans on Sado island in Niigata prefecture, Japan. Throughout Japan there are various styles of bamboo colanders, this particular style from Sado Island is called "Gozame-ami". It is a simple method of weaving narrow horizontal and vertical strips together.
This colander has multiple uses, such as collecting vegetables, drying vegetables and serving noodles.

Measurements: 27cm x 1cm
Take care to store bamboo in environments not overly moist or dry. Once washed dry in the shade.
As each item is individually hand crafted, each piece will differ from the one photographed.
