Stoneware Footed Dish - I
Product Description
This small dish has been made with the handbuilding process of coiling, this ancient techniques has been used for many of thousands of years. This approach to making pottery allows it to be created without pottery wheels, using only the makers hands and simple tools. I gravitate towards this way of making as it shows evidence of the human hand – the human being behind the work.
Each piece takes many hours to days to form by hand, then allowing time to dry for a period of 2-4 weeks before the kiln firing process.
Ideal to be used in the kitchen, as a base for the ball and ring incense holders, for storing special objects, or as a stand-alone object.
